CAESAR Director Mark W. Spong has been named the first recipient of the IROS Fumio Harashima Award for Innovative Technologies. The Award is jointly sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, the Robotics Society of Japan, and the Society of Instrumentation and Control Engineers (SICE) of Japan. It recognizes outstanding contributions of a pioneering individual in the Intelligent Robotics and Systems community.
